Ayeesha Muzammil
I am Ayeesha Muzammil, the CEO of Fitness Studio Co. I hold the distinction of being Pakistan’s first certified Para-Taekwondo instructor with a black belt from Kukkiwon, and I am also a certified yoga trainer from the University of California. As the first female ambassador from the Muslim world for Taekwondo for special needs children, I have received certifications from Canada. Additionally, I serve as the Vice President of Integral Martial Arts.
Inspired by my father’s belief that his children should be self-reliant for their safety, I embarked on a journey to empower others. The tragic Army Public School incident was a catalyst for me to use my skills for societal benefit. Recognizing the need for self-defense training, I founded Fitness Studio 14 years after my marriage.
I have since conducted numerous workshops and training sessions on harassment and self-defense for girls and working women. Adapting to the times, I transitioned to online classes, defying skeptics who doubted the effectiveness of teaching martial arts virtually. The response was overwhelming, especially during the pandemic.
